CHRISTMAS IN NEW JERSEY

Joseph and Mema on Christmas Eve had a great time with all the family around the fire place.

Santa left Joseph many toys. He must have been a good boy.

The stocking is first on Christmas Morning. Lots of trinkets and candy.

Mommy helps by opening a gift from Aunt Branice, Uncle Jason and cousin Phoenix.

IT'S HANDY MANNY TOOL BOX!

Memere gets to play "You break it we fix it" with Joseph!

We had a special Christmas this year in New Jersey. The surprised look on Danielle's face when she saw Memere and Pepere was like fireworks in our hearts. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Took a drive to the Brewster unemployment office and this fish was hanging from a huge tree on the street the office was on. Ya gotta love the artists on the cape.

A little further down the road we found three whale tales in the front yard of a house in Brewster.

All around us an abundance of natural and artistic beauty! Life is Good.

Early Thanksgiving

What a beautiful Autumn it has been. I filled the bird feeder for the first time this year and the birds are so thankful. Is that a Cardinal out there?

Joseph and Papa became fast friends and he doesn't mind sharing Pepere....much.

What a smile!

Time with Memere means time in the kitchen. Joseph likes this alot.

The time we had was so sweet there was just not enough of it.

10232 Marcus Avenue

A month has flown by so quickly. Ruby has found her upper register and is learning to hold her own bottle.
Cooper has become such a little man trying so hard to please everyone. He is learning patience and to listen. Two things we are all trying to do more of.
Nicole is turning 33 this month and she says it is her "Balance Birthday". She is a Libra after all! I am so proud of her strength and determination. She is doing the best she can for her family and the sacrifices are many. It's all worth it though. You can see it in the smiles and shining eyes of Cooper and Ruby.
I must thank Jakob for welcoming my last minuet extended visit to the White House. It can not be easy having a Memere under foot, I know since I speak from being over experience with house guests.
I'll miss my good night Memere kisses and hugs and morning greetings from Cooper. " Did you have a good sleep Memere?" Did you have any dreams?
Yes I had dreams and they all came true.
I love my Tujunga Family.

Beautiful bevy

Ahhh the rewards of having a garden are so nice. I spent all day yesterday peeling, seeding, chopping and simmering. It made our house smell and feel like home.

These beautiful mushrooms made their home under a shady hedge near the pool. I thought about picking and eating them but decided the were too beautiful and might be poisonous.

My basil bush is still standing but most of it has been chopped up and made into pesto for the coming winter. The cucumbers have taken over. What was I thinking when I planted them in July!

I'm already planning my garden for next year. Life is Good.

I love this picture of Ruby. She is so content and at ease with what's going on around here. She is growing so fast and soon she will be rolling over and crawling around. I miss holding her and rocking her and just feeling her in my arms. Memere misses you and Pepere is so anxious to hold you and sing to you. Welcome to our world Ruby.

Flowers

WOW! How beautiful are these Marigolds and Geraniums. Our wonderful friend Brian gave us the best advice about keeping our plants happy. We know how to make our guests happy but the plants are a challenge. Thank you Brian for the dead heading advice, and I'm not referring to listening to the Greatful Dead but the actual deadheading of these beautiful plants. We would truly be looking at scruffy struggling plants if not for your advice. Here's to you Brian! You're the best!
Love you guys.

Last Friday Cooper and I went to the Yellow Balloon for a haircut while Mommy and Ruby were at the doctors. We had a great time. Cooper played with every toy at least twice and was done with his hair cut way before Julie, his stylist, was. It took much diversion therapy to get the job done but it worked and since he was such a good boy his reward was to have lunch at "Chuck E. Cheese" or as Nicole calls it "Rat Pizza". Cooper calls it "Pizza Planet" like in Toy Story 1. We had to get this picture to document our fun and Cooper had to do his signature sticking out his tongue. Priceless! He played and played for over two hours. Crashed a birthday party for a boy named Jakob and met Chuck E Cheese himself! Yes he had a star sighting and followed Rat Cheese all around the place. This place is Vegas for kids. What a day. I'll remember it always.

I am having a wonderful visit in Tujunga. This is a photo of us having lunch at the Kidspace Museum in Pasadena pre baby sister.

Cooper was my waiter at this buggy restaurant.

When I first arrived in Tujunga Cooper showed me all of his toys.

This is his newest toy, Ruby Zuzu. What a beauty!
And....I was surprised to hear today that The Fletcher's are pregnant! Grand baby number 4 is on it's way!!! How blessed are we?

Finally got the golf cart running. I have to keep reminding Joe that it's not a "go cart".

Joe took this video today so Cooper could see snow on Cape Cod in March.

Here is a tour of our new manager's quarters.

To my Valentine.
You have been my Valentine since we first met.
You make me smile when you need a smile. You make me laugh when I don't feel like laughing. You make me feel special when things aren't so special. You help me make the best out of every situation. You make me a better me. Happy Valentines Day L.B.

Monument Beach

We took a drive yesterday into Falmouth and went the long way home through the back roads in Bourne. The familiar sights look so different in the cluches of winter. It's all so beautiful. Believe it or not we missed this frigid Cape. I can't wait till spring.
